Masatoshi Miyazaki, a Japanese doctor who managed Kuroddo Hospital in northeast China, founded Kokuryudo. In 1907, he invented the Black Dragon Face Cream to treat patients with chapped skin and frostbites. The cream was first made accessible in Japan on a national scale in 1949, and it began to be distributed internationally in 1955. Under 8 subsidiary brands, Kokuryudo now offers a comprehensive range of skin care and beauty products, including cleansing oils, soaps, facial mists, and pressed powders, as part of its ongoing development and expansion.
