Review: Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil
It had been a while since I'd last used a cleansing oil, so I admit I had grand expectations for the @beautyofjoseon_official Ginseng Cleansing Oil.
⁉️Claims
It claims to gently dissolve makeup and dirt to avoid clogged pores while it also adds moisture to the skin
Notable Ingredients
50% Soybean Oil: dissolves waste and unclogs pores while also smooths the skin
0.1% Ginseng seed oil: protects the skin against external aggressors
My Experience:
Comes in a plastic bottle with a locking pump.
There’s a paper with the logo and name that bothers me a little because it gets easily dirt and with time and use peels off
The oil itself has a very soft scent.
Feels very, very hydrating, very easy to rub into the skin and it removes every bit of makeup, dirt, sunscreen, even waterproof mascara. It’s also very easy to rinse off with lukewarm water.
There’s no irritation, no eye sting or film and once removed the skin feels clean. Never noticed that it caused any breakouts
Final Thoughts
This feels so gentle on the skin. I love that 2 pumps for me is enough to remove all my makeup. And it’s actually a very reasonably priced cleansing oil considering the results.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule
Today let’s talk about a very simple serum, containing only 7 ingredients - most notably centella asiatica extract.
I got this as a GWP with a Stylevana order, and honestly didn’t expect much of it, and while I will say it’s not the most soothing/barrier supporting serum I’ve ever tried, after prolonged use I have noticed it calming my skin.
I was using this on and off here and there until my skin started feeling really sensitive and irritated so I decided to fully commit to it in my evening routine - and not only did it feel instantly soothing and hydrating, I do think it’s also helped in the long term, as my skin has calmed down a lot since then.
Overall, I think this is a nice, simple hydrating & soothing serum especially if you have very reactive skin. It might not have all the bells & whistles, but sometimes that’s for the best.

Kaine Kombu Balancing Ampoule Toner
Kaine is a brand I’ve become familiar with this year, and so far, I’ve been pretty impressed! I really want to try more from them in the future, but today let’s chat about their toner!
I love a toner in the morning, and moving into summer, I’ve been switching back to more watery toners. This one contains 60% black tea ferment, glycerin, sugarcane extract, some plant extracts, a few forms of hyaluronic acid, 1% pantheon, allantoin, & beta-glucan.
The texture of this is definitely not as light as water, but it’s also not very viscous or sticky feeling - I actually think the texture is perfect and it balances hydration that sinks in quickly very well - perfect for humid summers!
This also feels very soothing on my skin, which has been especially nice as I’ve been dealing with a little more irritation and breakouts, which is typical for me when the seasons change (ugh).
Overall, I’ve really been liking this toner and I could see myself repurchasing for sure! It’s a winner in my books, and like I said, I’m curious to try more from the brand!

Hello beautie. Today I would love to tell you about the gem which was waiting for its time for almost one year. Pestlo The Brightist (Re-Bright Toner Serum & Vita Activator)
I have not used such kind of products before, so it’s my first experience.
It contains a two bottles (one with milky white toner and the second one with orange transparent activator). You should mix them and shake the toner bottle till the substance inside becomes a nice peach color.
I am using it straight after cleansing and this toner is great base for the next steps. After applying I can feel my skin more plumped, hydrated and soothed.
I am using The brightist already for 3 weeks and I can say that it works great and does not cause any irritation.
It has quite noticeable herbal scent, but not an invasive one, so all right for me.
The fact which will be pleasant for lot of people : it’s really budget friendly - 100 ml of product for something like 35€. And it lasts for quite long time.
