I haven... Current favourite sunscreen Longtime no post! For the past two weeks/month I’ve been struggling with a huge mental block trying to find my groove in between my internship and part-time job. I haven’t had much motivation to make content, but I’m starting to get inspired again and talk about what I love! I was dealing with a bad breakout that went on for about 2 weeks around end of April and have been trying to find what works for me again, so I’ll make a post about it on how I got my skin to heal from that. Sorry for the ramble haha, let’s get into the swing of things: Isntree’s Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel (SPF 50+ PA++++) TLDR: has been a current favourite of mine for my AM routine. It’s a fairly affordable, lightweight, hydrating chemical sunscreen that works great for my dry skin! Usage: 50ml (I got this on sale @stylevana for about $15, so definitely wait for it to be discounted!). Wish this came in bigger size so I could use it for my body too. Texture: lightweight, like a fluid lotion (? lmao can I say that), easy to spread, no whitecast. Ingredients: formulated with oil controlling, brightening, and soothing ingredients like niacinamide, centella asiatica extract, and ceramides making it great at controlling the skin’s oil production but preventing you from drying out. No fragrance and alcohol! My experience/thoughts: I love this over a lightweight moisturizer and to wear outside since it gives me a glowyyyy look. It kind of acts as a natural highlight for me, so I never apply any highlighter when I wear this. I think this is a great sunscreen to look at for my friends with dry skin, however it may not be suitable for those with oily/combo skin. Repurchase?: Yes! I’m really happy with this one, and glad it doesn’t dry my skin out. What’s your favourite SPF at the moment? Let me know!
