Oil Control / Pores
Pores are normal to all skin types, which are openings lined with keratin and sebum. If the keratin and sebum lining build up due to slow cell renewal, it will then turn to be oil build up and clog the pore with blackheads and whiteheads. When the pores are filled with blackheads and whiteheads, they will then appear to be bigger but it does not mean you should squeeze them and extract the gunk out. Extraction could be helpful to reset the pores with professional help, but if you have done it wrong, it could only do more harm than good. A more gentle, safer way to accelerate cell buildup in pores is chemical exfoliation; try AHAs, BHAs, and PHAs, in addition to tea tree extract to control oil production. To regulate sebum production, you could also keep your skin hydrated and plumped by adding a hyaluronic acid-rich serum, moisturizer to your skincare routine.
